YOUTH GROUP

At Church of Reconciliation, when we say all are welcome, we mean it. We are a safe place for those youth on the margins. A place where they are seen as they are and loved by God and us. If your youth is looking for a place to be with God and with people that accept them fully, your place is here.

Relationships with one another, with our congregation, and with our community.

Youth group is a time for the youth of our church to have a safe space to be themselves as they grow in their faith. We may be a smaller group, but one that cares for one another and the world immensely. We have a lot of fun and await new youth with open arms, minds, and hearts.

Our youth engage in the community through public service projects and learning where their help is needed. We want our youth to know that even the smallest of hands can create the largest of changes in the world.

Often we will host fundraisers to not only raise money for mission trips and projects, but also to create fellowship within our church. These funds help offset costs for summer mission trips where we go out and are God’s hands and feet in the world. This is an important week where we not only learn about the needs in our world and serve, they are also a week of growth for the youth. Creating bonds with one another and taking care of themselves and others.

In the summer, we take a  trip to Montreat for their annual youth conference.

It is a week of worship, connections, growth, and fun. Also a mission trip to serve others and grow closer to God and one another.

We welcome all to join us. If you have any questions about youth and youth programming, please contact Karen Miller karen@churchrec.org.
