Dear Church of Reconciliation congregation and friends,

As requested at the Earth Sabbath 2nd Hour Conversation (April 30, 2006), I have created an online community for Rec folks to share thoughts, ideas, and plans in response to Global Warming.

This community can be accessed at http://p086.ezboard.com/becorec

This is a bulletin board consisting of "forums" which are arranged by subject. Within these "forums" you can post "topics" or "replies" to topics that are already posted. Three of us have already posted & replied to get things started. It might be a good idea for us to start adding our name to our posts so that we can be identified (since usernames are not easily identifiable).

To use this great resource, you must register for a username. Please follow the link "Register An Account" you find at http://p086.ezboard.com/becorec to register. Then an email will be sent to you to confirm registration. After you confirm, you can begin using the forums.

Please share with me your feedback on this site! My email address is kkmc@unc.edu. I will be donating the introductory offer ($10 for 3 months) after the trial period expires, so that gives us a little over 3 mos to test it out. After that, if it seems we are really using it, we can discuss buying its service ($30 for 6 months) as a community (there is an option for "community chest" donations from each user) or request it from church funds.
